Have you ever wondered why God heals some people and not others?
Have you ever asked God to heal you or a loved one, believing with all your heart that He would, and nothing changed?
Was it because you didn’t have enough faith or the “right” theology?
Or was it because of something you did or did not do?
Can you see what’s wrong with this kind of thinking?
It puts the monkey of healing on your back instead of the Great Physician’s, where it rightly belongs.
More than anything, your divine Doctor wants your eyes fixed squarely on Him alone when it comes to all matters of life and death on this fallen earth.
Why don’t you grab your Bible, something refreshing to drink, sit back, relax, and listen to the Healer who lives in the core of your being tell you the truth about healing:
“My dearest darling, if you are hurting, either emotionally or physically (or both), I want you to understand that I, the Lord, am your healer.”
“I heal your broken heart and bandage your wounds.”
“I am full of compassion for you in your suffering.”
“I hurt when you hurt.”
“I bore your sins in My body on the cross so that you would be healed by My wounds.”
“Your spirit (who you are now and forever) has already been made whole through your union with Me.”
“There is nothing lacking in you.”
“You have eternal life and that includes a new resurrection body like Mine.”
“A body not stained with sin.”
“A God-infused body that you will get to enjoy for all eternity.”
“Isn’t that marvelous!”
“Your guaranteed healing will not always include a manifestation of emotional and physical health in the here and now.”
“If you have asked Me to heal your damaged emotions and/or your physical maladies, I want to encourage you.”
“I want to assure you that there is nothing wrong with you or your faith.”
“Through our union, you possess My faith—the very same faith I exercised while I walked this earth!”
“Yes, I had to completely depend on My Father to live His life through Me over two thousand years ago.”
“And now you get to choose whether or not you will depend on My life in and through you during your brief stay here.”
“If you have contributed to your suffering through poor choices, then I want you to partner together with Me so that you might enjoy a greater quality of life on this earth.”
“I am your wisdom and I will lead and empower you to make healthy choices that can improve your well-being in the here and now.”
“Do I still perform miraculous healing on this earth?”
“Yes!”
“Do I want you to ask Me to manifest your emotional and physical healing in the here and now?”
“You bet I do!”
“And when you have asked, I want you to rest in the outcome, whatever it may be.”
“I will never leave you nor stop loving you.”
