Christian, if you are honest, you might have to admit that you aren’t enjoying the kind of peace in your life that Jesus promised all those who belong to Him.
In today’s post, lean in, listen to, and follow these Words of your Beloved so that you can begin to truly savor the peace that He died to give you.
“My dearest darling, have you noticed that this fallen world is becoming more hostile as time goes by?”
“And don’t be fooled. It’s not just unbelievers spewing their wrath.”
“Believers walking by frustrated and angry flesh can be found on every street corner.”
“The intensity of this type of flesh has grown to the degree that it is now called rage.”
“Why are so many people, including My bride, expressing this type of repulsive behavior?”
“The last time you got frustrated and angry more than likely had to do with blocked goals.”
“When you adopt goals outside of your control—like getting something or someone else to do what you want them to do—sooner or later you will find yourself gritting your teeth.”
“There’s a much better (and more peaceful) way to navigate life in this world. “
“Intentionally adopt goals within the realm of your control, according to My will, and in reliance on My indwelling Spirit, and you will find yourself enjoying many more moments of your life. “
“As long as you live in this world, it is important for you to realize that your responses to your circumstances are your responsibility. “
“I’ve given you the gift of choice. You are not a mindless drone that I control, but a holy heart whose deepest desires perfectly match Mine.”
“When you set your mind on negative circumstances beyond your control, you will react with anger and frustration.”
“But when you set your mind on the truth of our eternal spiritual union and consistently enjoy intimacy with Me, you will experience and exude life and peace.”
Dear reader, have you been adopting goals outside of your control and consequently not experiencing the peace that Jesus promised you would enjoy?
