Your story may be a bit like mine.
I was a Christian for over thirty years before I began to savor the reality of my eternal spiritual union with Christ.
Isn’t that sad?
To think of all those years Christ was living inside of me, and me not realizing the truth and enjoying Him!
Well, there’s nothing I can do about the past.
But there is certainly something I can do about the present!
I can decide today to fix my eyes on Christ in me and our flawless union.
And just savor Him.
Savor His unconditional love for me and be grateful for the flawless identity He gave me when I first believed into Him.
I can celebrate the truth that He made me eternally complete in Him (Colossians 2:10)!
How about you?
What are you going to do today with the Beautiful Christ who lives in you?
Why don’t you sit back, take a deep breath, and receive these precious words from your Beloved today?
“My dearest darling, there are two aspects to your eternal spiritual union with Me: the invisible reality that is imperceptible to your natural senses and the experiential reality that is discernible to you—also known as communion.”
“Simply put, communion is the awareness and enjoyment of your spiritual union with Me.”
“In order to savor the reality of our oneness, you need to acknowledge it and grow in your awareness of My powerful, loving presence in you at all times.”
“You need to taste and see that I am good!”
“No one in this world will ever love you like I love you because My love is not of this world.”
“I always, always have your best interests at heart.”
“My lovingkindness toward you will last forever.”
“Actual experience of My love for you is the springboard of true joy in your life.”
“To have only a cognitive knowledge of My love for you without personally experiencing it would be like holding a plate of your favorite dessert in your hands without breathing in its rich aroma and enjoying every delectable morsel.”
“Once you taste sweet communion with Me, you’ll come back for seconds, thirds, fourths, and … well, you get the point.”
“And you will never gain a pound. Instead, the weight of burdens will melt away as you let Me shower you with My extravagant affection.”
“And you won’t be able to help but love Me back!”
I hope you enjoyed today’s post which contains an excerpt from my newest book, Fifty Days in His Pursuing Love Devotional.
I also want to encourage you to take some time to meditate on the Scripture basis for today’s post in order to get your mind renewed with truth.
You will love the transformation that takes place in your life when you are walking in truth (Romans 12:2; Galatians 5:16; 3 John 1:4)!
*If you enjoyed this post, then I think you would enjoy all three of my books where I share the undiluted, unpolluted love and grace of God.
